Bold orange organza with tonal embroidery that catches the light just right, the Begum Orange Kurta is chikankari with a twist. Same-colour threadwork fans across the chest in a dense floral panel, while scattered leaf and paisley motifs trail down the sheer fabric, all hand stitched in the traditional needle art of Lucknow.
Organza's crisp, semi-sheer drape gives the kurta a light, floaty movement, so the embroidery seems to shimmer as you walk. It's a colour that doesn't ask for attention, it commands it, while still carrying the quiet craft of chikankari underneath.
Crafted by The House of Khwabkari, where every stitch supports skilled artisan hands.
Mulmul, chanderi, organza or georgette ground with hand chikankari embroidery. Cold hand wash separately, dry in shade — never wring the embroidered panels.
Each panel is worked by hand in Lucknow and carries slight variation — that is the hand, not a fault. We name the artisan on every garment label.
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
